The Ruger LCP II .22LR semi-automatic pistol features a hardened steel slide and a one-piece, high-performance, glass-filled nylon grip frame that allows it to remain tough despite normal wear and tear. The LCP 2's textured grip frame provides a secure and comfortable grip, with the increased surface area providing better distribution of recoil forces. Designed to easily be drawn, the LCP II has fixed front and rear sights that are integral to the slide helping to reduce snags upon retrieval. 

The LCP II also puts safety first, with Ruger's safe, reliable, and proven Secure Action fire-control system that combines a protected internal hammer with a bladed-safety trigger. Additional safety features include a neutrally balanced sear with significant engagement, a strong spring tension, and a hammer catch to help prevent the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled. There is also a manual safety.
