Overview
The Colt Mfg 1911 Commander Combat Unit in 9mm Luger is a hammer-fired semi-automatic pistol with a 4.25" National Match barrel and a compact aluminum frame finished in black PVD anodizing. The stainless steel slide carries a matching black PVD finish with front and rear angled serrations. The pistol weighs 35 oz with a 7.75" overall length and holds 9+1 rounds.
Per manufacturer copy, the Combat Unit design incorporated input from U.S. Special Forces trainers. Features include an upswept beavertail safety, extended magwell, undercut trigger guard, and checkered/scalloped gray G10 grips with 25 LPI checkering.
