Overview
The CZ 75 BD is a DA/SA, hammer-fired semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, featuring a 4.6" hammer forged steel barrel. Built entirely from steel with a black polycoat finish on the frame and slide, it carries 16+1 rounds via a double-column magazine. The slide-in-frame design places the slide rails inside the frame rather than outside, lowering the bore axis for improved recoil management. A left-side decocking lever allows the hammer to be lowered onto a loaded chamber.
The 75 BD includes ambidextrous controls, a steel beavertail frame, a 3-dot sighting system, and serrated slide panels. The decocker replaces the manual thumb safety found on the standard CZ 75 B.
