Overview
The Ruger 10/22 Takedown in .22 LR is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle with an 18.5" cold hammer-forged matte stainless barrel and an aluminum alloy receiver. Its defining feature is a tool-free takedown system that separates the barrel from the action by locking back the bolt, pressing a recessed lever, and twisting the two subassemblies apart, making it well-suited for compact storage and transportation.
The black synthetic stock is fixed, and the rifle uses a flush-mount 10-round detachable rotary magazine with an extended release. A cross-bolt manual safety and integral scope mount are included.
