Overview
The Ruger American Hunter in .308 Winchester is a bolt-action rifle with a 20" heavy-contour barrel, a 5+1 capacity, and a Flat Dark Earth Magpul synthetic stock. The one-piece, three-lug bolt with 70-degree throw provides ample scope clearance and uses a full-diameter bolt body with dual cocking cams for smooth cycling. A Ruger Precision Rifle Hybrid Muzzle brake is fitted at the muzzle, and a factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base is included.
