Overview
The Ruger American II is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 20" spiral fluted, threaded barrel and 3+1 capacity. The barreled action and barrel carry a Gun Metal Gray Cerakote finish, and the stock is an adjustable length-of-pull gray splatter synthetic. This model is part of the Ruger American Rifle Generation II family.
The CNC-machined steel bolt features a three-lug design with a 70-degree throw for optic clearance. A factory-installed radial port muzzle brake is standard, and the Picatinny scope base replaces iron sights. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger and 3-position tang safety are also included.
