Overview
The Ruger Redhawk in .44 Special / .44 Rem Mag is a double-action revolver with a 5.5" cold hammer-forged barrel and a 6-round cylinder in satin stainless finish. The solid stainless steel frame has no side plates and incorporates extra material in the top strap, sidewalls, and barrel mounting area to handle magnum loads. A patented transfer bar mechanism provides a security measure against accidental discharge.
