Overview
The Ruger AR-556 in 5.56x45mm NATO is a direct-impingement semi-automatic rifle built on 7075-T6 hard-coat anodized aluminum forgings. The 16.1" cold hammer-forged barrel is paired with a six-position M4-style telescoping buttstock and Mil-Spec buffer tube. Folding Rapid Deploy rear sight provides windage adjustment and pairs with an A2-style, F-height elevation-adjustable front sight for a complete iron sight system out of the box.
