Overview
The Smith & Wesson M&P 5.7 is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in 5.7x28mm, featuring an internal hammer-fired, gas-operated action with the TEMPO barrel system — the barrel does not cam open until the bullet passes the gas port. The 5" threaded barrel (thread protector included) has a 1:9" twist rate, and the slide features an optic-ready Black Armornite finish. Overall length is 8.7" and weight is 39 oz.
The FDE polymer frame has a slim textured grip, flat face trigger, Picatinny-style equipment rail, metal white dot front and rear sights, and ambidextrous slide stop and reversible magazine release.
