Overview
The Smith & Wesson M&P15 AXE is a semi-automatic 5.56 NATO AR-15-platform rifle featuring a 16.1" 4150 CMV steel barrel with Armornite finish and 5R rifling. Overall length adjusts from 32" to 36" via the Magpul CTR six-position stock. At 6.65 lbs, it incorporates the Gemtech GVAC mid-length direct impingement gas system, designed to reduce gas blowback when used with a suppressor.
