Overview
The Smith & Wesson M&P40 Shield M2.0 in .40 S&W is a striker-fired, semi-automatic pistol built on a compact slim polymer frame. It features a 3.1" stainless steel barrel and slide, both finished in Armornite®, with an overall length of 6.1" and a weight of 18.1 oz unloaded.
The M2.0 design incorporates an aggressive grip texture, tactile and audible trigger reset, a patented take-down lever and sear deactivation system for trigger-free disassembly, and an 18-degree grip angle.
