Overview
The Smith & Wesson SD VE in 9mm Luger is a striker-fired, polymer-frame semi-automatic pistol with a 4" stainless steel barrel and a stainless steel slide. At 7.2" overall length and 23 oz unloaded, it occupies the full-size category. The slide features a serrated stainless finish, and the frame is matte black polymer with a Picatinny-style rail and a magazine safety.
The Self Defense Trigger is designed for a consistent pull from the first round through the last. A tactile loaded chamber indicator and textured grip panels with front and back strap texturing are also included.
