Overview
The Smith & Wesson 1854 in .45-70 Government is a lever-action rifle built on a forged 416 stainless steel receiver with a Black Armornite finish. The 20" threaded barrel features an 11/16×24 thread pitch and a 1:20" twist rate. A fixed walnut stock with textured grip panels, large loop lever, flat-faced trigger, cross-bolt safety, XS Ghost Ring rear sight, and gold bead front sight round out the feature set.
