Overview
The Springfield Armory Echelon in 9mm Luger is a modular, striker-fired semi-automatic handgun with a 4" hammer-forged steel barrel in black Melonite. The black polymer frame features a Picatinny rail and houses a serialized stainless steel chassis. This model is a low-capacity variant at 10+1, configured for state-restricted markets. It ships as a Gear Pac bundle with a Viridian RFX11 green dot optic, four magazines, and a pistol bag.
The Variable Interface System (VIS) enables direct mounting of 30+ optics, and the U-Dot tritium front sight with tactical rack rear sight is standard. An ambidextrous thumb safety is factory installed.
