Overview
The Springfield Armory Echelon in 9mm Luger is a striker-fired semi-automatic pistol built on a stainless steel chassis with a black polymer frame and Melonite-finished slide. The 4" hammer-forged steel barrel features an integral single-port compensator machined into the barrel and slide to reduce muzzle rise during rapid fire. Overall length is 7.25" and the pistol weighs 24 oz.
The slide is optics-ready with a mounting system compatible with today's widely used red dot footprints. Fully ambidextrous controls and a small interchangeable grip module are standard. Tritium/luminescent front and Tactical Rack U-Dot rear sights are included.
