Overview
The Springfield Armory M1A SOCOM 16 in .308 Winchester is a semi-automatic rifle built on the M1A platform with a shortened 16.25" stainless steel, black Parkerized, 6-groove barrel. The carbon steel receiver carries a black Parkerized finish. At 8.8 lbs and 37.25" overall length, the SOCOM 16 features a fixed walnut stock, a 2-stage trigger, a rotating safety, and a proprietary muzzle brake. XS Sights tritium insert front and enlarged ghost ring aperture rear sights are fitted as standard.
