Overview
The Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy in 9mm Luger is a double-stack, single-action semi-automatic pistol built on the 1911 DS platform with a 4.25" forged steel heavy bull barrel and a 10+1 capacity. The polymer grip module mounts to a forged steel frame finished in Black Cerakote, and the slide features the Agency Optic System (AOS), which uses billet-steel plates with an integrated rear sight machined to deliver proper optic height.
An integrated Picatinny rail sits below the dust cover, ambidextrous thumb safety and grip safety are standard, and the fiber optic front sight pairs with the AOS serrated rear. This listing is the Gear Pac configuration.
