Overview
The Springfield Armory 1911 TRP in .45 ACP is a full-size single-action semi-automatic handgun built on a forged steel frame and slide, both finished in black Cerakote. The 5" match-grade steel barrel and 8.6" overall length deliver a 7+1 capacity pistol weighing 40 oz. The TRP line draws its design inspiration from the Custom Professional Model HRT 1911 developed for the FBI.
Standard features include three-dot tritium night sights, extended bilateral thumb safety, beavertail grip safety, a match-grade trigger, black G10 grips, and 20 LPI checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing.
