Overview
The Springfield Armory Saint in 5.56 NATO is a semi-automatic, direct-impingement carbine with a 16" chrome moly vanadium (CMV) Melonite-finished barrel. Both upper and lower receivers are forged 7075 T6 aluminum with Type III hardcoat anodize. Overall length adjusts from 32.25" to 35.5" via the BCMGUNFIGHTER Mod 0 stock, and the rifle weighs 6.7 lbs.
Key components include a mid-length gas system with a Picatinny pinned gas block, a BCMGUNFIGHTER PMCR M-Lok handguard with internal heat shield, a nickel boron-coated GI trigger, and low-profile adjustable flip-up iron sights. The lower features the Accu-Tite tension system and a single-side safety selector.
