Overview
The Smith & Wesson Volunteer XV in 5.56 NATO is a semi-automatic AR-15 style rifle built on a 7075-T6 aluminum receiver with a hard coat black anodized finish. The 16" 4140 CMV steel barrel features 5R rifling with a 1:8" twist rate and is topped with an A2 flash suppressor. A BCM Gunfighter M-LOK handguard and Picatinny rail gas block provide accessory flexibility.
The rifle ships with a B5 Systems Bravo collapsible stock and a B5 Systems P-Grip 23, a flat-face trigger, and a mil-spec safety selector. The optics-ready upper provides a full-length top rail.
