Overview
The Colt LE Combat Carbine Unit is a semi-automatic AR-15 chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 16.1" barrel and a 30+1 round capacity. Upper and lower receivers are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum with a black hardcoat anodized finish. The collapsible Magpul MOE SL buttstock adjusts overall length from 33" to 36.5", and the rifle weighs 6.47 lbs unloaded.
The mid-length direct impingement gas system feeds a chrome-lined, 4150 CMV lightweight-profile barrel with a manganese phosphate exterior finish. A Centurion CMR M-LOK extended handguard provides accessory mounting flexibility across the forend.
