Overview
The Colt M4 Carbine is a semi-automatic AR-15 chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 16.1" barrel and 30+1 round capacity. Forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers are finished in black hardcoat anodize. The Magpul CTR 4-position collapsible stock adjusts overall length from 32.5" to 36", and the rifle weighs 7.3 lbs unloaded.
A carbine-length direct impingement gas system feeds a chrome-lined, 4150 CMV 6-groove barrel. The Geissele 13" MK4 free-float M-LOK rail provides a rigid, full-length mounting surface for accessories and optics.
