Overview
The Colt Mfg M4 Carbine in 5.56 NATO is a semi-automatic AR-15 rifle with a 16.1" chrome-lined, M4-profile barrel, a 1:7" twist rate, and a 1/2x28 TPI threaded muzzle capped with an A2 flash hider. The 7075-T6 aluminum receiver is finished in hard coat anodized black, and overall length adjusts between 32" and 35.5" via the four-position collapsible stock. Unloaded weight is 6.9 lbs.
Sighting consists of an A2 adjustable post front and a Magpul MBUS Gen 2 rear backup sight. The polymer dual heat shield handguard and mil-spec trigger complete the package.
