Overview
The Smith & Wesson M&P 15 in 5.56 NATO / .223 Remington is a semi-automatic firearm in pistol configuration with a 7.5" 4140 steel threaded barrel, a 1:7" twist rate, and a 30+1 round capacity. The black finish is applied to both the frame and receiver. A fixed arm brace with closure strap and one-point QD sling swivel attachment are included.
The 7.75" M&P free-float M-LOK handguard and full-length Picatinny-style top rail support accessory mounting. The optics-ready configuration is complemented by a flat face trigger, chromed firing pin, forward assist, dust cover, and forged integral trigger guard.
