Overview
The Smith & Wesson M&P 5.7 in 5.7x28mm is a semi-automatic, gas-operated pistol built around the proprietary TEMPO Barrel System, in which the barrel does not cam open until the bullet passes the gas port. The 5" stainless steel barrel is threaded and features a 1:9" twist rate. The pistol measures 8.5" overall and weighs 26.7 oz, finished throughout in Flat Dark Earth (FDE).
The slide is cut for optics and fitted with white dot front and rear sights. Additional features include a flat-face trigger, ambidextrous slide stop, reversible magazine release, and a Picatinny-style equipment rail on the polymer frame.
