Overview
The Smith & Wesson PC M460XVR in .460 S&W Magnum is a Performance Center double-action/single-action revolver built on the X-Frame platform with a 14" barrel and a 5-round cylinder. The satin stainless finish is applied to both the frame and receiver. According to Smith & Wesson, the M460XVR generates the highest muzzle velocity of any production revolver.
Performance Center enhancements include a hand-tuned action, a chrome hammer, a chrome trigger with trigger stop, and a muzzle brake to manage recoil and muzzle rise.
