Overview
The Smith & Wesson Response in 9mm Luger is an AR-style pistol caliber carbine built on a polymer receiver with a black finish. The 16.5" steel barrel carries Black Armornite protection and is threaded 1/2×28 with a thread protector installed; twist rate is 1:10". The 6-position CAR adjustable stock gives an overall length of 32.125" to 35.375".
The FLEXMAG system ships with two interchangeable adapters—one for M&P double-stack magazines and one for Glock G17/G19 magazines. A flat-faced trigger, 2-position thumb safety, and M-LOK handguard with Picatinny-style top rail are standard. This variant ships with a 10-round magazine.
