Overview
The Smith & Wesson Response Rifle in 9mm Luger is an AR-style pistol caliber carbine built on a polymer receiver with a black finish. It features a 16.5" steel barrel with Black Armornite finish, threaded 1/2×28, and a 1:10" twist. Overall length ranges from 32.125" to 35.375" with the 6-position CAR adjustable stock.
The FLEXMAG system accepts two interchangeable magazine well adapters—one for M&P double-stack magazines and one for Glock G17/G19 magazines—broadening magazine compatibility. A flat-faced trigger, 2-position thumb safety, M-LOK handguard with Picatinny-style top rail, and thread protector are included. Weight is 5.9 lbs.
