Overview
The Springfield Armory Echelon 4.5F in 9mm Luger is a full-size, striker-fired semi-automatic pistol with a 4.5" hammer-forged steel barrel finished in Melonite. It is built on a black polymer full-size grip module with a black Melonite slide. The optics-ready serrated slide features Springfield Armory's Variable Interface System (VIS) for direct optic mounting. Capacity is 15+1.
The Echelon platform centers on a serialized stainless steel chassis (COG) that is self-contained and transferable between grip modules. The slide includes multiple engagement surfaces and a forward trench cut for press checks, along with deep forward and rear serrations for positive purchase.
