Overview
The Springfield Armory Echelon 4.5F Comp in 9mm Luger is a striker-fired semi-automatic pistol featuring a 4.5" hammer-forged steel barrel with an integral single-port compensator machined directly into the barrel and slide. The slide is finished in black Melonite, and the frame is built around a stainless steel chassis with a black polymer grip shell.
The Variable Interface System (VIS) provides optics-ready mounting flexibility. Fully ambidextrous controls and interchangeable backstraps accommodate a range of hand sizes and preferences. A flat-face trigger and tritium/luminescent front sight with U-Dot rear are standard.
