Overview
The Springfield Armory Echelon 4.5F Comp in 9mm Luger is a striker-fired semi-automatic pistol with a 4.5" hammer-forged steel barrel and Melonite finish integrated with a single-port compensator machined into the slide and barrel assembly. The billet steel slide sits on a modular stainless steel COG chassis with a black polymer grip module. Overall length is 7.8" and weight is 25 oz with a 17+1 capacity.
The Variable Interface System (VIS) allows direct mounting of optics to the slide without adapter plates. Interchangeable backstraps, fully ambidextrous controls, Tritium U-Dot front sight, and Tactical Rack U-Notch rear sight are standard. Safeties include a striker block and trigger safety.
