Overview
The Springfield Armory Echelon in 9mm Luger is a modular, striker-fired semi-automatic handgun with a 4.5" hammer-forged steel barrel in black Melonite. The black polymer frame features a Picatinny rail, and the slide carries a black Melonite finish over a serialized stainless steel chassis. Overall length is 8" and weight is 23.9 oz. Capacity is 15+1.
The Echelon's Variable Interface System (VIS) allows direct optic mounting, while the U-Dot tritium front sight and tactical rack rear sight are standard. The frame-mounted ambidextrous thumb safety and fully ambidextrous controls are factory installed.
