Overview
The Springfield Armory Echelon in 9mm Luger is a modular, striker-fired semi-automatic handgun with a 4.5" hammer-forged steel barrel in black Melonite. The black polymer frame includes a Picatinny rail, and both frame and slide carry a black Melonite finish over a serialized stainless steel chassis. Overall length is 8" and weight is 24.5 oz. Capacity is 20+1.
The Echelon's Variable Interface System (VIS) allows direct optic mounting, and the U-Dot tritium front sight with tactical rack rear sight is standard. Ambidextrous thumb safety and fully ambidextrous controls are factory installed.
