Overview
The Springfield Armory Echelon in 9mm Luger is a full-size, striker-fired semi-automatic pistol built on a serialized stainless steel Central Operating Group (COG) chassis with a 4.5" hammer-forged steel barrel finished in Black Melonite. The frame is a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote polymer and the slide carries a matching Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish. The 20+1 capacity configuration ships with both a 17-round and a 20-round magazine plus a carry case.
The Variable Interface System (VIS) optics mounting allows more than 30 optics to mount directly to the slide without adapter plates. Sights include a tritium/luminescent U-Dot front and Tactical Rack U-Notch rear. A Picatinny rail is integrated on the frame.
