Overview
The Springfield Armory Echelon in 9mm Luger is a striker-fired, semi-automatic handgun with a 4.5" hammer forged steel barrel, 17+1 capacity, and a black Melonite slide finish. At 8" overall length and 23.9 oz, the Echelon is built around a serialized Central Operating Group (COG) housed in a polymer grip module with interchangeable backstraps. The stainless steel chassis is designed to be transferable between grip modules.
The Variable Interface System on the slide allows direct mounting of over 30 optic models. Slide geometry includes four engagement surfaces, a forward trench cut for press checks, a flared rear, and deep front and rear serrations. Tritium U-Dot front and Tactical Rack U-Notch rear sights are standard.
