Overview
The Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy in 9mm Luger is a single-action, hammer-fired, double-stack 1911-platform semi-automatic pistol built on a forged steel frame finished in Coyote Brown Cerakote. The 4.25" carbon steel bull barrel features an 11-degree crown, and the polymer grip is mounted to the forged steel frame. This configuration ships with a 10-round magazine for capacity-restricted states.
The optics-ready AOS (Agency Optic System) slide accepts interchangeable plates with integrated rear sights, and the package includes a HEX Dragonfly-compatible plate per manufacturer data.
