Overview
The Springfield Armory 1911 Prodigy DS in 9mm Luger is a hammer-fired semi-automatic pistol built on the 1911 platform with a double-stack magazine configuration. It features a 5" integrally compensated barrel, a forged steel frame in Coyote Brown, and a double-stack polymer grip module with 17+1 capacity. The slide is compatible with the Agency Optics System (AOS) for optic mounting.
A Picatinny rail on the frame accepts accessories, and the compensated barrel assembly works to reduce muzzle rise during firing. The pistol ships with a 17-round and a 20-round magazine.
