Overview
The Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy in 9mm Luger is a single-action semi-automatic pistol that combines the 1911 platform with a double-stack magazine system and a polymer grip module mounted to a forged carbon steel frame. The 4.25" match-grade bull barrel and Black Cerakote finish are paired with an AOS optic-cut slide and included HEX Dragonfly red dot, with a 7.8" overall length and 20+1 capacity.
The pistol also accepts a 17+1 magazine and includes a fiber optic front sight with a black serrated U-notch rear as backup sights.
