Overview
The Springfield Armory 1911 Operator AOS in .45 ACP is a single-action, semi-automatic pistol built on a carbon steel frame and slide, both finished in Black Cerakote. The 4" barrel and Commander-length configuration are paired with VZ G10 grips and an ambidextrous thumb safety. The Armory Optic System (AOS) allows mounting of a variety of popular optics—including RMR, Shield, Delta Point Pro, and Docter—while each AOS plate integrates a rear sight to maintain a proper co-witness sight picture.
An integral Picatinny rail on the dust cover allows accessory mounting. The pistol ships with two 8-round magazines and a pistol case.
