Overview
The Springfield Armory 1911 Operator in .45 ACP is a single-action, hammer-fired pistol built on a forged carbon steel frame and slide, both finished in Black Cerakote. It features a 5" match grade barrel, 8+1 round capacity, and an 8.6" overall length. An integral Picatinny rail on the dust cover allows for the addition of a light or laser without a separate adapter.
The Operator ships with VZ G10 grip panels, an extended match grade trigger, ambidextrous thumb safety, beavertail grip safety, tritium front sight, and a tactical rack rear sight. The recoil system is GI style.
