Overview
The Springfield Armory 1911 Emissary in 9mm Luger is a single-action semi-automatic pistol built on a forged stainless steel frame and slide, both finished in black Cerakote. The 4.25" heavy-profile stainless match-grade bull barrel eliminates the traditional barrel bushing, measuring 7.9" overall at 36 oz unloaded. VZ Grips Thin-Line G10 panels and a skeletonized Gen 2 Speed Trigger are standard.
The Agency Optics System (AOS) plate, included with the pistol, accepts a wide range of popular red dot footprints and features an integral rear sight for proper optic height. Tritium/luminescent front sight and Tactical Rack U-Notch rear sight are factory installed.
