Overview
The Springfield Armory 1911 Garrison in .45 ACP is a single-action semi-automatic pistol built entirely from forged stainless steel, including the frame and serrated slide. The 5" stainless match-grade barrel with fully supported ramp and match barrel bushing gives an overall length of 8.6" and an unloaded weight of 41 oz. Checkered thinline wood grips and a skeletonized hammer are standard at a 7+1 capacity.
An extended beavertail grip safety and single thumb safety are fitted from the factory. Low-profile 3-dot high-visibility sights help with target acquisition without adding snag points.
