Overview
The Springfield Armory XD-S Mod.2 OSP in .45 ACP is a single-stack, striker-fired pistol built on a slim black polymer frame with a 3.3" hammer-forged steel barrel finished in Melonite. The slide features an optics cut and is also finished in black Melonite. At 23 oz and 6.3" overall length, this is a sub-compact platform with a 5+1 or 6+1 capacity depending on magazine used.
The slide is pre-cut for direct mounting of the included Crimson Trace CTS-1500 red dot, and a seamless polymer cover plate is provided for use without an optic. A Picatinny rail on the dust cover accepts lights and lasers.
