Overview
The Springfield Armory XD Tactical in .45 ACP is a striker-fired semi-automatic handgun with a 5" hammer-forged steel barrel and Melonite finish. The polymer frame is finished in black and measures 8.3" overall at 32.0 oz with a 10+1 capacity. The forged slide is topped with steel white dot sights.
The XD Tactical incorporates the Ultra Safety Assurance (USA) Action Trigger System with a flat-faced trigger, a grip safety, firing pin block, striker status indicator, and a loaded chamber indicator. A Picatinny accessory rail is built into the dust cover, and the magazine release is ambidextrous.
