Overview
The Springfield Armory XD Compact in .45 ACP is a striker-fired semi-automatic pistol with a 4" hammer-forged steel barrel and Melonite finish, a black polymer frame, and a forged steel slide. The pistol measures 7.3" overall, weighs 29 oz unloaded, and holds 10+1 rounds. The 1.2" grip width and compact dimensions make it a manageable package for the .45 ACP chambering.
Safety features include a grip safety, the Ultra Safety Assurance (USA) Action Trigger System, and a firing pin block. The slide is topped with steel 3-dot white dot sights and includes a striker status indicator and loaded chamber indicator.
