Overview
The Colt Mfg Python in .357 Magnum / .38 Special is a 6-round DA/SA revolver with a 5" one-piece full-lug ventilated rib stainless steel barrel and a stainless finish throughout. It has an overall length of 10.5" and accepts both .357 Magnum and .38 Special cartridges. The frame is built with modern stainless steel alloys.
The redesigned adjustable rear sight incorporates approximately 30% more steel beneath it compared to previous designs for added strength. The user-interchangeable front sight, recessed target crown, and walnut grips with the Colt medallion round out the configuration.
