Overview
The Smith & Wesson Model 500 is a DA/SA revolver chambered in .500 S&W Magnum, built on the X-frame with a stainless steel barrel, cylinder, and frame finished in satin stainless. The 8.38" barrel brings overall length to 15" and the revolver weighs 71.4 oz. A fixed compensator is integrated at the muzzle to help tame recoil from this high-power chambering.
The 5-round cylinder is paired with interchangeable front sights and an adjustable rear sight, supporting field adjustments. Black synthetic grips and an internal lock round out the feature set.
