Overview
The Springfield Armory Echelon 4.5F in 9mm Luger is a striker-fired semi-automatic pistol featuring a 4.5" hammer-forged steel barrel with Melonite finish, a billet steel slide, and a modular stainless steel chassis (COG) that is self-contained and serialized. The COG can be moved between compatible grip modules without tools. The black polymer grip module includes interchangeable backstraps and the pistol weighs 24.5 oz with a 15+1 capacity.
The Variable Interface System (VIS) allows direct optic mounting to the slide for over 30 red dot options. The slide features four engagement surfaces, a forward trench cut for press checks, and deep forward and rear serrations. Tritium U-Dot front and Tactical Rack U-Notch rear sights are standard.
