Overview
The Springfield Armory Hellion in 5.56 NATO is a semi-automatic bullpup rifle with a 16" barrel and a 10+1 capacity, configured for jurisdictions with magazine capacity restrictions. The bullpup layout positions the action behind the trigger, maintaining a 16" barrel in a compact overall package. The FDE-finished polymer stock accepts standard AR-15 pattern pistol grips.
The polymer handguard features nine M-Lok slots for accessory mounting, and a Picatinny top rail runs the length of the receiver. Spring-loaded flip-up iron sights are included. The two-position adjustable gas block provides a dedicated suppressed setting in addition to the standard mode.
