Overview
The Springfield Armory Hellion in 5.56 NATO is a semi-automatic bullpup rifle with a 16" barrel and 30+1 capacity. The bullpup layout positions the action behind the trigger group, reducing overall rifle length while retaining a full-length barrel. The ODG polymer stock includes a handguard with nine M-LOK attachment slots and an ambidextrous control set with a reversible case ejection system.
A Picatinny top rail runs the length of the receiver for optic mounting, and spring-loaded flip-up iron sights are included. The two-position adjustable gas block provides settings for standard and suppressed use.
